Linkedin Influencer ads are here...and we've booked meetings from them already 🙌 😎 🔥 - Here is what you need to know. 1. What are Linkedin Influencer Ads? -Just like the sponsored posts from the company page..you can now sponsor posts from employees 🤯 2. How does it work? -Simply create a new campaign, select "engagement" as the objective, turn off audience expansions and LAN, and then go to ad new ads. -Click "browse existing content" and select "employee." -Start typing the name of the employee -Click their name when it appears -You'll then see all their eligible posts from the last 6 months -You can then click to submit a request to that employee for permission to use that post -The employee approves the request, and the ad then becomes visible in the "requested" tab and now shows "approved" vs "requested" now. -Select those approved ads and click "sponsor" in the bottom right -Launch campaign! 3. Why do we care? -I haven't said this since Linkedin rolled out single image interaction retargeting ability...BUT this is a GAME CHANGER. Here is why. 1. Humanize your brand 2. Personal posts that show your expertise and have social proof (lots of likes and comments) is such a powerful inbound generation machine. The issue? Creating personal brands and gaining visibility with personal posts with guaranteed distribution to target demographics was always impossible. But now you can do just that with influencer ads. Create and amplify posts from individuals in the org, target your ICP, AND, guarantee distribution to key targets. 3. Cross-pollinate paid and organic -People who get exposed to my personal Linkedin profile and content typically close at higher rates and spend more money on initial purchases with us. So If I can use my paid retargeting to funnel them into following my personal profile, our youtube channel, sign up for our newsletter etc...this is a massive win because we can build trust AND funnel prospects into lists/audiences we own and can nurture and provide value to FOREVER for FREE (pretty much) vs a finite paid ads funnel they'd eventually age out of. Justin — am I right in thinking we could use these influencer ads to gain more followers on our personal profiles? We’d just need to make sure the content we’re sharing includes a relevant CTA, or something along those lines?
